A step-by-step guide to preparing your bike with Bikes Only Transport
Step 1
Confirm your booking details.
- Please check your booking confirmation form. Make sure all details (including spelling, phone numbers and bike details) are correct and amend if necessary. Take note of your Booking Number
- Read the Terms & Conditions listed on our website.

Sign the confirmation form and return to us if you're the person who's booked in the transport with us.
- Always make sure each party involved is aware of the booking details, booking reference number and has read the Terms & Conditions on our website.

If you selected to pay via Direct Deposit, please notify us of your payment (use your Booking
Number as reference)
Step 2
Prepare your bike
- Ensure the bike is roll-able and tire's are inflated.
- A key is preferred to travel with the bike.
- Disable the alarm system or in travel mode for bikes with FOBS.
- Lower any electric windscreens & fold in mirrors.
- Make sure there is easy access to the bike for pickup/delivery.
- Fuel, oil etc. do not need to be removed - but it must not leak fluid.
- The bike must be clean and tidy for an accurate assessment on it’s general condition - Failure to do so will void insurance due to inability to assess the condition of the motorcycle.
- All bikes must be clean to travel into Western Australia and Tasmania otherwise a $1800 fee may be charged by transport authorities.
- We don’t recommend sending personal belongings or loose items with your bike (Panniers, Top Boxes and Gear Sacks are ok, but not covered by our insurance).

- Only 1x box per motorcycle

Additional fee - $60 for QLD, NSW, VIC & SA. $120 for
WA, NT & TAS - Must be securely closed to withstand movement on the truck
- Must be clearly labelled with delivery name, phone number and address
- Must be a maximum weight of 20kg
- No engines, wheels or tyres
- Must not be multiple boxes taped together - one box only
- Boxes & personal items are NOT covered by transit insurance
Boxes must be pre-booked and paid for, as well as meet Workplace Health and Safety regulations to ensure safety of the contents and bikes on board. Our Drivers cannot accept boxes that don’t meet the safety regulations
What we will do.
- Handle your motorbike in a safe, professional manner at all time.
- Phone the sender the morning of or the day before pick up / delivery to advise a time.
- Advise you of an delays due to traffic, weather etc.
- Carry out a Condition Report to be signed by bother the sender upon pick up and the receiver upon delivery.
- When picking up, we will wheel the bike out from your accessible location without assistance
- We will loading and secure the bike in a manner which will reduces the likelihood of damage during transit.
- Upload the bike without assistance and place it on your property in a secure location subject to terrain and access.
Important information
- Unfortunately, we cannot give out the drivers contact details - this is to reduce distraction to our drivers while operating a heavy vehicle.
- Drivers will phone prior to pick up - please have your phone handy and make sure you're available on the day.
- In remote areas, please provide a landline number as well.
- All pick ups and deliveries to depots require an appointment time, which our driver will arrange with you.
- Please be aware that road conditions, weather and some circumstances out of our control can delay transport times, we are committed to a reliable service and will do everything in our power to manage these.
- Your motorcycle is covered by Transit Insurance whiles it is being conveyed in our vehicles and authorized depots. Motorcycles are covered to market value. For full comprehensive insurance covering items such as your accessories, we recommend also obtaining private comprehensive insurance.
Fees

- All Bikes must be clean to travel into WA and Tas, otherwise a $1800 fee may be charged by transport authorities.
- If you are unable to receive delivery on the agreed date, storage fees may apply.
- A futile fee may apply if we try to deliver the motorcycle on the day of deliver and we're unable.
- Refunds will incur a 1% fee.
