Motorcycle Transport Fork Seal Policy

At Bikes Only, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch motorcycle transport services. To maintain transparency and ensure our customers are well-informed, we would like to clarify our policy regarding fork seals.

1. Inspection Limitations:

• Our team focuses on the safe and secure transportation of motorcycles. During the condition report process prior to transport, we do not conduct inspections of the motorcycle's mechanical components, including the fork seals. This is because our expertise is centered around transportation, not mechanical assessment.

2. Strapping Method:

• To ensure the safety and stability of motorcycles during transport, our team is trained in specific strapping techniques. Motorcycles are securely strapped down below the front forks, around the front axles. This method is employed to prevent the compression of the forks during transport, reducing the risk of damage.

Fork Seal Policy:

• Due to these practices, Bikes Only Transport does not cover fork seals under our insurance policy. Our transportation process is designed to minimise the risk of damage to the forks, but we do not inspect or provide coverage for pre-existing conditions or damages related to the fork seals.

We encourage our customers to ensure that their motorcycles, including the fork seals, are in good condition before entrusting them to us for transport. This policy is in place to provide clarity and uphold the integrity of our services.
