Motorcycle Transport Battery Policy

At Bikes Only Transport, we are committed to ensuring the safe and efficient transport of your motorcycle.

However, it's important for our customers to be aware of our specific policies regarding motorcycle batteries during transportation.

1. Automated Loading Process:

• Our transport trucks are equipped with fully automated tailgate loaders. This advanced technology allows us to load motorcycles into our trucks safely and efficiently, without the need for manual ramps.

2. No Starting Policy:

• As a standard procedure, we do not start motorcycles during the transportation process. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of your motorcycle and to maintain the integrity of our transport service.

3. Battery Testing Exclusion:

• Upon picking up your motorcycle, our team does not conduct battery checks. As such, we are unable to verify the condition of the motorcycle's battery at the time of pickup.

4. Owner's Responsibility:

• It is the motorcycle owner's responsibility to prepare the motorcycle for transport. This preparation includes disengaging any alarms and placing the motorcycle in transport mode. Failure to properly prepare your motorcycle may result in the alarm being triggered during transport, potentially leading to battery drainage.

Battery Policy:

• Due to the above considerations and the fact that we do not test or start motorcycles during transport unless explicitly consented to by the customer, Bikes Only does not cover battery-related issues under our insurance policy. It is crucial for customers to ensure that their motorcycles are adequately prepared for transport to avoid any battery-related complications.
